MISSION STATEMENT

We launched this site for our video journalism, most of it short segments made for the web.In general we aim to cover the out of the way stories about an often invisible America and the world at large. We want to use video to reach the further shores of American society, its subcultures, fringe ideas and movements that so often start small but end up at the center of politics and culture. That includes investigative reporting on such subjects as 911, the political impact of mushrooming religious communities,
whistleblowers, environment, people at work, people with nowhere to go, the police, and so on.

The site will feature finished projects, usually in the form of short videos or films. It is both an archive and a workshop — rough cuts, raw footage, sometimes still photographs, down and dirty. Our work is in different languages. Send us your ideas and feedback.
